When the M-14 project came across our desk, we knew that we couldn't just cut out pieces of road and put them back in. After all, it's all the cracks that get water in them and freeze that break up the road, right?
We knew we'd need to go down deep to make the updated roadway last longer than 32 minutes of real traffic. We're grateful to be part of creating a long lasting roadway that lasts even half as long as every other state in the country!
Dig up and rebuild M-14 in Plymouth, MI and beyond. Make the road last longer than a few minutes of actual vehicles traveling across its surface.
Dig up existing road and go down DEEP with the new foundation in order to ensure a solid road that lasts a long time in Michigan's challenging weather.
We went down 51 feet with rock, dirt, old boats and vehicles to make sure the road could withstand the 51 axel trucks that travel down M-14 daily.
