I didn’t start this business with a brand guide or a business plan. I started it with a shovel, a pickup, and a gut feeling that I could do better than what I saw in this industry.

Back then, I was fresh out of school, with an accounting degree I knew I’d never use. I’d grown up on job sites, watching the good and the bad. What I saw too often was sloppy work, corner-cutting, and crews that didn’t care.

So I made a promise: to build the kind of company I’d want to hire myself. One that values its people. One that doesn’t leave a job half-done. One that treats every foundation like it’s holding something important—because it is.

Almost 30 years later, we’re still at it. And I couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve built.
